Open Call for proposals in the frame of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007–2013. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the Managing Authority, programme partners and representatives of lead or project partners.

In the framework of the Operational programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013, the Government Office for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy as the Managing authority has organised the Kick-off event on Friday, 29 August 2008, which was dedicated to the presentation of the Slovenia-Austria Operational Programme for the 2007-2013 programming period. The event was also attended by Minister Dr. Ivan Žagar, responsible for local self-government and regional policy, and the Austrian Federal Minister Mrs Heidrun Silhavy, responsible for regional policy and the Structural Funds. Mr Siegfried Schritttwieser, the representative of the Styrian federal state government accepted the invitation and was also present at the Event.

PUBLICATION OF THE FIRST OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE SELECTION OF PROJECTS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION BETWEEN SLOVENIA AND AUSTRIA
On 18 July 2008 the Government Office for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy (GOSP), led by Minister dr. Ivan Žagar, as the Management Authority for the Operational Programme of Cross-Border Cooperation Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 published the first open call for proposals for co-financing project proposals from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with the aim of cross-border cooperation.
