The Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy (GOSP), headed by Minister Zlata Ploštajner, today organised a signing ceremony of the first subsidy contracts approved within the first deadline of the 1. Open Call for proposals in the frame of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007–2013. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the Managing Authority, programme partners and representatives of lead or project partners.

In the framework of the Operational programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013, the Government Office for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy as the Managing authority has organised the Kick-off event on Friday, 29 August 2008, which was dedicated to the presentation of the Slovenia-Austria Operational Programme for the 2007-2013 programming period. The event was also attended by Minister Dr. Ivan Žagar, responsible for local self-government and regional policy, and the Austrian Federal Minister Mrs Heidrun Silhavy, responsible for regional policy and the Structural Funds. Mr Siegfried Schritttwieser, the representative of the Styrian federal state government accepted the invitation and was also present at the Event.
