The sixth Monitoring Committee took place on 5 December 2018 in Maribor, Slovenia.
The members of the Monitoring Committee took note of the current state of programme implementation and the Open Call for the submission of project proposals. On the basis of good results, both delegations expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the current programme, both in terms of contracted funds and disbursement of funds, which further strengthens the high level of confidence of Member States in the work of the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat. The successful implementation of the programme is also a good basis for the planning of the next programming period, which was also the basis for an introductory discussion on the topic of the financial perspectives after 2020. The successful and effective implementation of the programme is also the result of well-implemented projects. One of these, namely, PaleoDiversiStyria, was, as this is aready the practice, also at this meeting.
