Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A SI-AT

The Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Austria is a cross-border cooperation programme between Slovenia and Austria in the programme period 2014-2020. In the frame of the Programme cross-border projects will be co-financed that will contribute to the harmoniuos development of the participating cross-border regions.

Open Call

The Open Call for Proposals in the frame of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Austria is intended for co-financing projects of cross-border cooperation between Slovenia and Austria in the programme period 2014-2020. For the co-financing of projects 44,9 Mio EUR ERDF funds are available.

Logo3In the programme period 2014-2020 the electronic Monitoring System (eMS) will be used in the frame of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Austria.

IP SI-AT 2021-2027

In April 2019, a working group for programming was established, the purpose of which is to guide and monitor the preparation of the programming document Interreg programme Slovenia-Austria. Also in the programming period 2021-2027, the programme will be managed by the GODC as the Managing Authority and a Joint Secretariat in close cooperation with representatives of both countries.

COVID-19 GUIDANCE for projects

The impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus on project implementation is defined as force majeure. This creates a special, unavoidable situation for which specific measures are needed to support our beneficiaries. The Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Austria has therefore published initial guidance for bridging the problems projects in implementation face.

Current Coronavirus situation – important information for projects

The current situation in which we are experiencing the spread of the COVID-19 virus requires a quick and, above all, flexible adaptation to the circumstances. For this reason, we have also adapted the work processes within the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat and adopted certain measures necessary for the successful continuation of the implementation of the programme and projects.

Information regarding the COVID-19

We are informing you, that the employees in the frame of the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat of the Cooperation Programme Interreg SI-AT will because of circumstances regarding the COVID-19 carry out their work from home from Monday, 16 March 2020 onwards and till reversal. In doing so we want to assure, that matters run as smoothly as possible despite the occurred circumstances.

Founding meeting of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Geopark Karavanke/Karawanken

In Neuhaus in Carinthia, representatives of the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy (GODC) took part in yesterday's event "Shaping Europe together regionally", in which the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation – EGTC Geopark Karavanke/Karawanken was founded. The Geopark Karawanken, which connects municipalities and institutions from the border regions of Slovenia and Austria and previously acted as a working group, has thus been given a new status.
