New possibilities through 3D printing

On 25 June 2019 the Carinthia University of Applied Science invited to the final event of the 3-year project MMO3D at the location Villach.

The project partners Oprema Ravne, University of Ljubljana – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Roboteh from Slovenia as well as the Austrian partners Fachhochschule Kärnten and Wood Kompetenzzentrum St. Veit presented their project results in a workshop.

The project goal of teaching integration was successfully presented: The newly gained knowledge in 3D printing with glass-fibre-nylon composites flowed directly into the course “Design and development”. The students designed and printed corner connections for the battery box. The best design was awarded a prize.

The project results were then presented in a Gallery of Results.
