The Managing Authority of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 and the contracting authority for funds from European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, is announcing the Public Call for Project Ideas. The subject of this Call is collecting project ideas for the co-financing of projects from the ERDF with the funds remaining from the 1st and 2nd Open Call for Proposals and from completed operations of the 1st and 2nd Open Call for Proposals of the OP SI-AT 2007-2013. The Government Office for Local Self-Government and Regional Policy (GOSP) acting as the Managing Authority for the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 has on 23 November 2010 organized the annual information event of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013. The event was beside other representatives of the Government Office also attended by the representative of the Office of the Minister for Local Self-Government and Regional Development, Ms. Zlata Ploštajner. Project partners from both sides of the border, were also welcomed by the Mayor of City Ptuj, Mr. Štefan Čelan.
The event was attended by over 100 participants.

On 19 October 2010 in Jesenice (Slovenia) the workshop for ISARR System and Reporting was held for the beneficiaries of the 1st deadline of the 2nd Open Call for Proposals within OP SI-AT 2007-2013. 33 participants from Slovenia and Austria attended the workshops.
In Lannach in Austria the second informative workshop for the 2nd deadline of the 2nd open call within the Operational programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 was organized.

In the central library dr. Franc Sušnik in Ravne na Koroškem the informative workshop for the 2nd deadline of the 2nd open call within the Operational programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 was organized.

The workshop was attended by about 70 participants from different institutional structures, which shows that the interest for the program is still very high.
Managing Authority of the Operational Programme Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013 is announcing the second deadline of the 2nd Open Call for Proposals for Priority 1 and Priority 2.
At the 5th session of the Joint Monitoring Committee held on 19 and 20 May 2010 the applications submitted to the first deadline of the 2nd Open Call for Proposals were discussed. After the decision of the Joint Monitoring Committee the second deadline of the 2nd Open Call for Proposals was set.
The 2nd deadline for the applications submission is 14 December 2010 till 3.30 p.m.
It is recommended that the applicants contact the Regional bodies on the both sides of the border before submitting the applications.
